Story

Born in Puerto Rico

September 1st, 1929

Jose was called home to God at the age of 93.  Beloved father of Wanda Juarbe, Frankie (Yvette) Juarbe, Jose Jr. (Carmen) Juarbe.  Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren, Mia, Sofia, Josef, Krystal, Milani, Kylee, Giovanni, Julian, Stephanie, and 1 great-grandchild Damian Jomar Juarbe.  Dear brother of Gilba (Haydee) Juarbe, Adrian (Blanca) Juarbe, Rosa Maria (Bernardo) Robles, the late Ruben Juarbe, late Tono (Iris) Juarbe.  Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jose loved many things in life. He loved his music, dancing, dominoes, cards, coffee, naps, animals, and his plants. He loved to spend his days feeding the birds at the lake or enjoying live music in Humboldt Park. At home, he loved taking care of his birds and all his plants. Every summer you wouldn't know what new plants he would add to his garden. Everywhere from peach trees to watermelon, tomatoes, and cilantro; along with all of his gorgeous flowers.

Jose had many stories from throughout his years and had many words of wisdom. Along with amazing humor and a joy for life and what God and nature provide. May he rest in peace.
